Century Plant seedling

After the disappointment with last year's attempt with the Century Plant seedlings from a kit, I tossed the left over seeds into a tomato pot with the attitude of "If you take, you take. If not, I'm done." Then after someone knocked a tomato pot over, I was pretty much under the impression that the seeds are a loss.

I went to water the tomato plants and imagine my shock to see this little guy poking out. I'm.... going to not be excited about it. I expect it to die but you never know. He might just keep pushing on and I'll have to repot him down the road. Who knows. Gardening is mysterious and fun yet frustrating. hehe.
