I fished out the box from the side of the shed. Also removed layers of pine needles that fell over 'em. It's pretty weird to see hardcore bulbs when I had planted them as seeds. My fingers are crossed that they bloom this spring. If not, I still plan to stick 'em in the ground. It's getting too packed in there as it is!

ReplyDeleteHow long ago did you plant these? I just collected seed from my "Red Lion" amaryllis and sowed them. I hope in five years I'll get flowers!
ReplyDeleteThey were planted in 2007. I'm hoping at least one will flower. Some of the bulbs look pretty big. Nothing yet though. I should get them in the ground eventually though. hehe.
